My work blends ancestral rhythms, urban sounds, and visual storytelling to awaken awareness about biodiversity and our deep connection with the Earth. Through music, art, and community projects, I seek to bridge culture and ecology, empowering people to reconnect with nature and protect what sustains us. My name is Isabella Cortes Lara, also known as ISAFUNK. I was born in Colombia, la tierra de los encantos. I've lived in four different countries, I am a combination of different cultures and rhythms. I am a perpetual dreamer, my body sits in a class room as my mind sways, always wanting to walk barefoot in the rain forest. Kilometer after Kilometer, my home countries mysticism has been burned into my bones. I always yearn for visual stimulation, you'll find me constantly staring at at the world, eyes like stones. Trying to soak in as much of my environment as possible.
